Manufacture and production
The manufacturing/production process will take two closely interlinked but different directions; a software route and a hardware route, both pulled together for rigorous testing and finally dispatch.
Software
- Layout & design – well practiced, eye catching, easy to use and manage
- Function & purpose – varied, adaptable, integration with other software/hardware components
- Content population – multilingual options, ability to ‘portal’ to existing web content, compliant with literacy standards, catering for partially sited (high brightness screens)
- Content population (real time passenger information) - GPRS systems installed to track and monitor bus/train locations
- Testing – ‘white list’ vetted sites for maximum security, ensuring hardware & software elements in a system complement one and other whilst providing the best possible information package
Hardware
- Skilled engineers – many years experience designing, building and testing interactive units/displays for any environment and mounting decision
- Extras – printers, telephone handsets, cameras, ticket readers, money handling etc
- DDA compliant – we cater for partially sited and wheelchair users
- Vandalism & weather testing – sturdy units tailor designed to suit the housing environment
- Finishing touches – countless customisable options; colour, graphics (etched, printed or applied)
- FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) – strict testing and regulations are met
- Sign
off – when a client is happy with their system it is signed off and ready for installation
RSL’s expert project management team carefully plan and coordinate each aspect; ensuring your information system is produced, tested, ready to install at a time that most suits you, the public and your employees. For more information on an RSL installation see here.
